Some critics say it is a bad idea while others think it is a great idea. Ideas are hard to buy and sell in most places of the world. Since I don't own a farm large enough to sustain a full time CSA, the idea of making up a multi-farm CSA seemed like a logical next step... there are many small farms here in Madison County... and many more large gardens producing more than one family can consume... all could contribute small amounts of extra produce to the CSA basket. And we could also offer a craft item each month. Many farmers and gardeners make interesting and useful handicrafts in their spare time in the winter months. Some of these make wonderful gifts that people are willing to pay for outside this special region. What do you think about a multi-farm CSA?
